This property allows the material to provide perfect body temperature regulation.
POWERFLEECE

Frequently asked questions
How should women layer clothing for the mountains and the slopes?
Wear three layers: a technical base layer that wicks sweat, a warm fleece or gilet, and a jacket with a membrane on top. For the slopes, choose a ski jacket and ski trousers with a water column of 10,000–30,000 mm; for hiking, a lighter, uninsulated outdoor jacket, with warmth added underneath in layers. For cross-country skiing and winter hikes, you can wear insulated waterproof leggings instead of trousers.
What should women wear for cross-country skiing to avoid getting too hot or too cold?
Wear fewer layers than on the slopes, because cross-country skiing warms you up quickly. Start with a technical T-shirt or a lightweight base layer, add a powerfleece jacket or a Nordic sports gilet for warmth, and top it off with a light Nordic jacket with insulated front and back panels. On your legs, close-fitting multisport softshell trousers or insulated leggings work well; in freezing weather, add a headband and gloves.
What do the numbers 10000 to 30000 in the names of women’s jackets and trousers mean?
The number after TERATEX® is the water column in millimetres: models with TERATEX® 10000 ELP have 10,000 mm, those with TERATEX® 20000 ELP 20,000 mm. SOFTSHIELD® 10000 softshell has a water column of 10,000 mm and a breathability of 10,000 g/m²/24 h; the DERMIZAX™ membrane has no number in its name, and its water column is 30,000 mm. The higher the number, the heavier and longer the rain the fabric can withstand; taped seams and waterproof zips matter just as much.
How do I choose the right size in NORDBLANC women’s clothing?
Measure your bust, waist and hips and compare the measurements with the NORDBLANC size chart; for longer jackets, coats and parkas, the hips matter most. With jackets and coats, allow room for a sweatshirt or base layer underneath, whereas leggings and base layers should fit close to the body. The fit tells you how a garment sits: Regular is a classic fit, Slim fit is close-fitting and Oversized is looser.
